These sculptural and unique wood veneer lamps casts a warm, welcoming light, akin in temperature and atmosphere to candlelight – though considerably brighter. I am a carpenter, fitter and furniture maker by profession, I make these lamps by hand as a kind of sideline – almost a hobby.

My whole professional life is spent making and arranging boxes and frames where the right-angle is king, so these lampshades are an opportunity to stretch out into the world of curves, circles and spheres – my professional therapy!
